Vinicius Covas is a Research Professor in the Faculty of Communication at Universidad Anáhuac México and holds a PhD in Communication. He studies artificial intelligence through a communication question: what happens to meaning, relationships and social organization when machines participate as agents? His agenda connects human–machine communication, generative multi-agent systems, artificial sociality and the social implications of AI. He develops Synthetic Agora, a research programme on interaction and social behavior among generative agents. His work examines context, audiences and the possibilities for communication offered by environments. He is preparing Communicating Machines: How Generative Multi-Agent Systems Develop Social Behavior, a monograph under contract with Palgrave Macmillan; its title and subtitle remain provisional. His scholarly work includes workshop research, editorial contributions and explicitly identified preprints. The LOGOS Framework addresses human cognitive agency in AI-assisted assessment. He has served as a guest editor for Comunicación y Medios and as a thematic track deputy director at Congreso Internacional H. Born in Rio de Janeiro and based in Mexico, he connects research, teaching and public conversation. Earlier experience in brand communication, gamification and digital environments informs his questions. Through classes, talks and essays, he develops criteria for interpreting technology and its consequences for social life.
